The hotel was fabulous and clean, with excellent views of the marina. I appreciated the room, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. - There was plenty of food for breakfast, and it was well presented. - the location was great, you can visit Trani Marina by walking. - Tourist attractions like a cathedral and a monastery were near the venue.

Very well situated in lovely position on Port and next to lovely public gardens in charming Trani. We were allocated a large, comfortable and handsome room with a huge balcony looking on the gardens and the port .

i booked a classic room, it was nicely furnished and had central heating, a work desk, and a satellite tv. the service was excellent, totally satisfied. location: the hotel was just off the park next door or the harbor, all the attractions and restaurants, and a swimmable public beach. spent a nice evening at trattoria la darsena, located around 4-6 minutes away by foot from the venue.

The location of the hotel is definitely a plus - it's close to everywhere in Trani city centre. With the room situated in a front of the hotel You gain a beautyful view onto the sea & the port of Trani. Welcome staff was very friendly and warm.

The breakfast was not really a 4 star hotel breakfast - lack of food selection. We've stayed in the last available room and unfortunately it was a room with a view onto the centre site of the hotel (no sea view).

Room was old with peeling ceiling. No real facilities in hotel. No functioning bar for example.

Excellent location with beautiful views of the bay.

As other reviewers noted, there is a noise problem. People tend to congregate along the wall that runs alongside the bay and if your windows are open (no A/C that I could identify) you do get that noise. Also, several bars around the small bay play music until late at night and that sound carries across the water quite well.

We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful old building with spectacular views of the seafront. The location of this place was perfect, as it was situated on the opposite side of the port to the cathedral. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a great sea view. The bathroom was also larger than expected. The breakfast provided was good and the courtyard and lounge areas were perfect for relaxing. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

As for the cons, we didn't find any negative aspects to mention. We highly recommend this hotel to our friends for its luxurious and comfortable accommodations, enhanced by its prime location and quality services.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely lovely. The grand building and fantastic location created a charming atmosphere. I was lucky enough to be given an upgrade to a room with a spectacular view of the harbour and the cathedral. The large bedroom, equipped with a modern ensuite bathroom, provided the perfect level of comfort. The breakfast, served in the former chapel, was incredible, offering a generous and delicious spread. I highly recommend this hotel for its unique charm, great location, and wonderful amenities.

Good position on the waterfront at Trani. Plenty of space, areas to sit and read and relax rather than feeling confined to one's room. (I have felt this in another Trani hotel last year which offered very little to its clientele and seemed very bare in comparison). Very pleasant and helpful reception and breakfast staff. Prompt response to travel queries; fluent in English and moved quickly between Italian and English when necessary. Coffee made to order; good range of pastries and fresh fruit in addition to cheeses, bresaola etc at breakfast.

The hotel has a lot of potential - but does not seem to utilise all its public spaces eg bar and courtyard area could be promoted. A little faded perhaps - but not really a problem.
